cold air intake

i eventually want to get a cold air intake for my trailblazer. it has the vortec 4.2L engine

I know they make plenty of short ram intakes, not to sure at all on a bolt on CAI. You might have to make one yourself in that case. Gonna go with an exhaust too? Never seen ones with that, aside from SS models.

o course im gonna go with an exhaust too. i just gotta save up for both of them. i got a friend who welds so he can help me weld up a CAI and then ill get it powder coated either black or have it sent out to get chromed

You could use a slip joint kit and piece it together, or I guarantee you someone makes a kit for it.

If all else fails, Autozone/Pep Boys sells universal intake parts to piece your own intake with.
